🧠 Highlights from the 9th Daradia Cadaveric Workshop at Ramaiah Advanced Learning Center
The 9th Daradia Cadaver Workshop on Interventional Pain Procedures was held on 9–10 January at the Ramaiah Advanced Learning Center, Bengaluru, in collaboration with Daradia: The Pain Clinic, Kolkata.
This two-day intensive training program brought together 38 anesthesiologists and pain physicians from across India, all eager to refine their interventional skills through real cadaveric practice.
Under the academic leadership of Dr. Gautam Das, founder of Daradia: The Pain Clinic and one of India’s pioneers in interventional pain medicine, the workshop was meticulously conducted with the dedicated guidance of Dr. Shirish Amatya, Dr. Sushpa Das, Dr. Smruti Rekha Hota, Dr Hari Poudel, Dr Priyanka, Dr Nivedha, Dr Senthil Prakash, and the entire Daradia faculty team. Participants actively practiced both C-Arm-guided and Ultrasound-guided pain procedures, integrating high-fidelity cadaveric anatomy with real-time imaging techniques to create an unparalleled environment for precision learning and skill enhancement.

The 9th edition of this flagship program focused on practical competence, step-by-step techniques, and image interpretation for a wide range of interventions, including:
- Lumbar and sacral C-Arm–guided blocks
- Thoracic and cervical procedures
- Ultrasound-guided upper and lower limb interventions
- Spine-focused ultrasound procedures on Day 2
Participants had access to well-preserved cadavers and were divided into small groups for maximum hands-on exposure. Each step was supervised by Daradia’s experienced faculty team including Dr. Sushpa Das, Dr. Shirish Amatya, Dr. Smruti Rekha Hota, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Nivea, and others—ensuring personalized guidance and structured learning.
