Pain Course for Indonesian Doctors
Daradia: The Pain Clinic has started courses & workshop in association with Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. The courses are successfully organized since 2011. This courses are organized regularly 3-4 times in a year.
This courses are for Indonesian doctors.
Few courses will be on basic pain management & some on advenaced Interventional procedures. Both C-arm & USG guided pain procedures will be covered. Next course 2-8 May ’16

Details of next course (basic course):
Day-1
Pathophysiology of pain, classification of pain, pain assessment, clinical method of evaluation of patients with pain, neuropathic pain and common varieties of neuropathic pain, CRPS, Fibromyalgia, Post-herpetic neuralgia, phantom limb pain.
Evaluation of back pain, pathophysiology of disc degeneration, facet joint pain, SI joint pain, Spinal canal stenosis, pain of spondylolisthesis.
Day-2
Neck pain, facial pain, headache: evaluation and management
Cancer pain: pharmacological and interventional management
Shoulder pain, knee pain: evaluation and management
How to start pain clinic, radiological anatomy of lumbar spine, advanced procedures
Day-3
USG guided pain interventions: Dmonstration of target and landmarks on volunteers. Caudal epidural, SI joint inj, Lumber Facet joint inj, cervical facet inj, TAP block, Piriformis Inj, Median nv block at wrist, Shoulder joint inj, Lateral femoral cutaneous nerve block
Day-4
C-arm guided pain interventions on cadaver: Facet joint, SI joint, Transforaminal inj, Medial br inj, Lumber sympathetic, Sup Hypogastric, Discography, Sacral nerve root inj, Celiac plexus block, splanchnic nerve block.
Day-5
C-arm guided pain interventions on cadaver: Thoracic facet, suprascapular nv block, cervical epidural, stellate ganglion block, gasserian ganglion block, sphenopalatine ganglion block
Day-6
Examination of live patients with emphasis on “How to make physical diagnosis”.
Interventional pain procedures on live patients.
Day-7
Examination of live patients with emphasis on “How to make physical diagnosis”.
Interventional pain procedures on live patients.
