Advancing Pain Medicine Education: AIIMS Mangalagiri Hosts a Successful CME & Workshop on March 1-2
AIIMS Mangalagiri recently hosted a two-day educational workshop on March 1-2, bringing together pain specialists from across India. This event, initiated by Dr. Samarjit Dey (Additional Professor & In-Charge, Pain Clinic) and supported by Dr. Krishna H M (HOD, Anesthesia & Pain Medicine) and Dr. A Santa Singh (Director, AIIMS Mangalagiri), served as a valuable learning experience for pain physicians and trainees.
With AIIMS Mangalagiri preparing to start a DM program in Pain Medicine, this workshop provided a comprehensive overview of advanced interventional procedures. Following the establishment of DM programs at AIIMS Rishikesh and AIIMS Gorakhpur by Dr. Ajit and Dr. Ravi, the addition of AIIMS Mangalagiri marks another step forward for pain medicine education in India.
